Cause 1:
The position of the humidifier causes it to read its own mist
Solution 1 :
Re-position the unit so that the mist produced does not settle at the base of the unit.
Cause 2 :
Sensor air inlet is blocked with lint
Solution 2 :
Look at bottom of unit. If any ventilation holes are covered or partially covered with lint, clean them and retry.
