The Carbon HEPA filter should be installed behind the pre-filter in place of the standard HEPA filter.
For Ionmax Vienne, the carbon HEPA filter is designed to work alongside the existing pre filter.
You don't necessarily need to replace the pre filter at the same time, but it should be kept clean and in place to ensure optimal air treatment performance.
The CARBON HEPA filter should be replaced every 6 months for best results. please see the photo below:
